Translation runs locally via
Transformers.js
on WebGPU, using
Meta's M2M100 418M
— one multilingual model (MIT) that handles any pair of its supported
languages. The model is ~418 MB on first visit, then cached in your
browser's origin-private storage; subsequent visits open instantly.
What leaves your device.
Nothing you type. The only outbound traffic is the one-time model
download from Hugging Face. After that this page works offline.
